Juniors Clinics
Fall juniors clinics for ages 5-12 will start this month:
Saturday:
Ages 5-6 @ 10:00-11:00 am
Age 7+ @ 11:00 am-12:00 pm
Thursday:
Ages 7-9 @ 4:30-5:30 pm
Ages 10-12 @ 5:30-6:30 pm

Cory Ann Avants

Cory Ann Avants is a former WTA Tour Professional. She grew up just outside of Charlotte in Gastonia where she began her junior playing career. At the young age of 15, Cory Ann became the top ranked player in girls 18’s for North Carolina and the Southern Section. She went on to win the NC State Qualifier 3 consecutive years in three different age groups (14's,16';s,18's). Cory Ann achieved the number 2 rank in the nation at age 15 after winning 2 gold balls(singles and doubles) at the 18 and under national clay court tournament. She briefly transitioned to junior ITF play, reaching number 36 in the world. As a junior, she reached quarter finals of Junior Wimbledon and semifinals of Junior US Open. After turning
pro, Cory Ann gained career high rank of top 200 in singles and doubles.
Along with Cory Ann’s playing history she is also a 3rd generation USPTA teaching professional. She has been a certified Elite Professional since 2003 and has over 15 years of coaching experience from beginning to elite level.
She currently coaches the boys and girls varsity tennis team at Providence Day School.
Court Rules
Tennis courts are to be used for official club events or tennis related activities only.
Things like wall ball, skateboarding, soccer and dog training are not permitted.
No animals are allowed on the courts.
You must have dry clothes.
Shirts and shoes are required.
Swim team is not allowed on courts during swim functions
Tennis cooler water is for tennis players only
